Armas Tarugo
Armas Tarugo is, possibly, the best and most complete PRE known today. In terms of Morphology, Movement, and Character, there is none better. In 2007, he was Absolute Champion of Functionality at every competition he entered, and he was awarded Functionality Champion of Spain in that same year. In 2008, he was not shown, but when he came out again in 2009, he won the Champion Stallion (CAMPEÓN de LA RAZA) and Champion of Functionality in Jerez.

More importantly, he transmits these characteristics to his offspring. His offspring in Spain have excelled in the breed ring as well as the dressage shows, including his son "Montes II", who was two year old champion and Reserve Champion Young Horse of Spain. PRE breeders in Spain have used Armas Tarugo with their mares with great success. Armas Tarugo was purchased by Yeguada San Francisco in 2010 and he moved to Mexico, where later that year he was declared Champion Stallion and Absolute Champion of Functionality at Anccemex 2010.

He is ANCCE Qualified and he has also been designated a Recommended Sire for Dressage by the Ministry of Agriculture of Spain, which tells us that his offspring have achieved excellent results in the sport.  Ketcham Ranch has been blessed with the opportunity to own a foal from Armas Tarugo and the newest addition to the broodmare band, Gitana SF, due in June 2012

Romerito II
Romerito II embodies the best qualities of the PRE horse: beauty, correct conformation, intelligence, athleticism and generosity. And he reliably passes these traits on to his offspring. Romerito was imported from Germany where he was born from the stock of Yeguada San Miguel in Spain. Although he stands a true 17hh, he moves with grace and lightness which belies his height. We have retained two of his daughters, Bengala KR and America KR, for our breeding program. Both are granddaughters of Ebanisto through their dams and both have inherited substantial bone and height, along with strong, uphill movement with outstanding cadence and suspension. Gaucho III
This incredible 16.1 hand gray stallion was bred by Yeguada Señorio de Bariain in Bilbao, Spain, and imported in 1996 by Janne Rumbough of MTICA Farms in Wellington, Florida. Gaucho III caused a sensation internationally as an extraordinary dressage competitor, competing in the U.S. at Intermediate I and Grand Prix levels. An unfortunate injury in 2000 put an end to his competitive career, but Gaucho III has now made his mark as a sire of quality in the United States, Spain, Mexico and Costa Rica. He has cemented his role as a preeminent sire of dressage horses through the accomplishments of his sons and daughters. In the USEF 2009 ranking of top dressage sires, he was ranked 7th out of 1079 stallions of all all breeds, and he is the first P.R.E. to achieve such recognition.

In 2007, Gaucho III was presented to the first Spanish Tribunal (TRC) on US soil, for approval as a Qualified Stallion. At 17 years old, he was one of the oldest horses presented, as most horses present at 4 to 6 years of age. He was approved for Qualified status for his physical structure, wonderful movement, and extreme quality.

Gaucho III carries Yeguada Militar, Miura, Bocado/Terry, and Escalera bloodlines. He is a half-brother to the Spanish Olympic Team’s Invasor II, and both are grandsons of Lebrijano III—a lineage shared by many Spanish dressage horses including our own Faralay II.

Cuatrero IV
Bred by Yeguada Marin Garcia and imported by Hampton Green Farm, this impressive bay stallion offers the rare opportunity to incorporate some of the most valued bloodlines for dressage in the PRE breed. Cuatrero carries the blood of Albero II and Remache close in his pedigree and he passes his powerful movement and trainability on to his offspring. Slightly more sport horse in build than his famous Olympic 3/4 brother, Grandioso, he has competed successfully through the International Small Tour with Mica Mabragana of Argentina and he is the sire of Top-Ranked 6 Year Old PRE in Spain, Vaquero HGF.

We have foals due in 2016. Please inquire for details.

Faralay II

Imported from Spain as a three year old, this ANCCE Qualified, FEI dressage stallion has made his mark in the US, both as a show horse and more importantly, through the significant accomplishments of his sons and daughters.  His offspring are known for their extreme athleticism and charisma, performing well in halter classes and often winning the Best Movement medals at the ANCCE morphology shows.

Faralay has successfully competed in open dressage through the levels to Grand Prix with Angela Ridgway in Sunol, CA.  In 2015, he moved to Wellington, Florida to compete with young rider Chelsea Reed under the supervision of US Olympian Lendon Grey.
